We're looking back to move forward

We're looking back to move forward

With the new year on the horizon, it gives ContactBuilder the perfect chance to reflect on the CRM changes that have taken place over the past year, and look ahead to the exciting opportunities that 2018 will bring for housebuilders.

The rise of mobile

Certainly, the biggest shift that we've seen since the start of 2017 is the massive leap in mobile technology usage across almost all market sectors.

Mobile has become the preferred channel for the majority of marketing communication as well as customer tracking, and because ContactBuilder has been optimised for mobile since 2016, it has given sales teams working in the housing market a true competitive advantage in the field of customer intelligence. In addition to providing real time up-to-the-minute customer information, users can conduct searches within seconds, even when they're out and on the move.

This year, we've learned that sales teams have wanted to accomplish specific tasks and report on data with utmost ease, so we've adapted our platform to do just that. Remote functionality, a comprehensive suite of reports and a snapshot dashboard, are among the many reasons why we have been selected as the CRM partner of choice by many of the UK's eminent developers.

Customer experience is paramount

Customer expectations and the need for optimal user experiences are increasing year-on-year, and we're championing that. Why? Because as a CRM provider for housebuilders and social housing providers, we are always looking to evolve our product to help take the CRM experience to the next level, and move marketing activities aimed at customers from 'good' to 'great'.

This continuous improvement is testament to the number of individual sites that have chosen to use our tried and tested CRM technology in 2017.

We're pleased to have been installed on no less than 500 individual sites this year – all putting their trust in ContactBuilder because of its simple, easy and mobile-friendly operating system, straight-forward setup procedure, and competitive pricing structure.

Integration

Another big change that we've witnessed is the need for CRM technology to be fully optimised and integrate with existing email systems and property portals to ensure all information is captured at the touch of a button.

During the last year, we've worked in collaboration with many customers to assess the effectiveness of current systems in place, enabling us to discover how productive and intuitive they really are.

Because of the success we've achieved with this approach, it's something that we will continue to do in the future; as customer relationships and user experience continue to evolve, so must ContactBuilder.

The future

Despite budgets continuing to be scrutinised in 2018, we're predicting that housebuilders will continue to make a more aggressive move towards effective CRM platforms.

Responding to market changes, the need for faster and richer data and analytics, and making informed decisions on the most effective direction of marketing communications, are just some of the areas that housebuilders can't afford to ignore.

And, of course, with the nationwide need for housebuilding on the increase in the immediate future, bespoke CRM will play a crucial role in sales success. Happy New Year!
